McDermott Quality Certification

Only after rigorous examination may a cue receive McDermott quality certification and be ready to ship to our customers. McDermott quality control experts analyze every feature of the cue-we maintain much stricter tolerances than industry accepted standards.

During the R&D phase, sophisticated tests allow designs to be perfected, and ensure that the technical expertise required to produce them become a reality.

From conception until the post-production phase, each model is subject to a number of uncompromising quality control checks which ensure that every single detail is being produced according to plan.

These strict internal quality checks continue even after our cues emerge from the production process. Each and every cue is checked for fit and finish to ensure that each cue continues to uphold the high standards of quality that set McDermott apart as a premium cue maker.

LIFETIME WARRANTY COVERAGE: McDermott Handcrafted Cues warrants its pool cues purchased from an authorized McDermott Cue retailer or distributor to be free of defects in material and workmanship, including warpage, for the lifetime of the original owner. McDermott will, without charge to the consumer, repair or replace your cue, provided that the claim is accompanied by a copy of the original sales receipt from an authorized McDermott dealer. This Lifetime Warranty is an expression of our confidence in the materials and workmanship of our products and assures a lifetime of enjoyment.

McDermott does not warrant its product against:

damage caused by third parties;

normal wear and tear;

exposure to extreme temperatures or excessive humidity;

mishandling or unauthorized repair;

abuse or misuse;

improper maintenance.

This warranty does not cover replaceable items such as finish and wrap; McDermott will fix such items, however, for a fee. The warranty extends to the original consumer purchaser only and is not assignable or transferable.

 To obtain warranty service on a McDermott product:

      send the product, shipping and insurance prepaid, to McDermott Cue, Customer Service Department, W146 N9560 Held Drive, Menomonee Falls, WI, 53051; please return to McDermott ONLY;

      enclose a copy of the original sales receipt along with a check or money order made to McDermott Cue Mfg. for $12.95 (U.S. dollars) to cover the cost of handling;

      a written statement setting forth the name, address, and daytime telephone number of the owner, together with a brief description of any claimed defects.

If a defect in a genuine McDermott product appears, and you comply with the requirements above, McDermott, in its sole discretion, will (1) repair the defect; or (2) replace the defective product with the same or a comparable product.
